Corn Dolly is a straightforward, no-frills café nestled right on Market Place in Wragby, serving up hearty breakfasts and classic lunch plates that fit well with the steady rhythm of village life. Locals and passing visitors alike gravitate here for a reliable start to the day or a solid midday meal without fuss.

The café’s star attractions are its full English breakfast options and simple but satisfying homemade dishes, like the Full English with three rashers of bacon, Lincolnshire sausage, and free-range eggs. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a good old-fashioned bacon bap or a comforting homemade meat dish of the day alongside fresh vegetables and potatoes — all for wallet-friendly prices.

Inside, expect a modest setup with an easygoing, slightly quirky vibe. There’s a buzz from watching the comings and goings in the Market Place through the bay window seating, while the back of the café offers quieter tables and facilities. It's clearly a spot favoured by those looking for a casual catch-up or a quick, satisfying bite. The friendly staff are used to the regular crowd, and they handle a steady flow with genuine warmth, though patrons should note this is a cash-only venue — a detail worth planning for, especially as nearby ATMs can be unreliable.

Parking is convenient, with free spaces just across the road, making it an accessible stop for drivers passing through or locals wanting an easy spot for breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed but energized by the local market square outside, so mid-morning or lunchtime on a weekday tends to be when the place feels at its liveliest without being rushed.

In short, Corn Dolly is suited to those who appreciate straightforward, well-prepared food in a serviceable, community-centred setting. It’s less about polished presentation and more about comfort, familiar friendly faces, and a genuine local café ambiance. If you’re after a proper breakfast or a classic plate of fish and chips after a stroll around Market Rasen, it’s a sensible, welcoming choice that fits naturally into the daily flow of the area.

I love coming to The Corn Dolly. Always greeted warmly and food is Just as good. People moaning about things like dirty condiment holders piss me off to be honest! You’re not in the Ritz!…..I’ve never seen them anything other than clean!. I’ve never in all my visits had any complaints about food or service, and guess what…..there’s this thing you can do….its called opening your mouth to communicate you’ve an issue whilst your there with food in front of you! Instead of going away and being a keyboard warrior!. To the owners of this lovely cafe, focus on all the great reviews you have, they by far out way the moaners.

Great little cafe - friendly staff, great value food, a real 'cafe' atmosphere. Bag a bay window table and watch the busy Wragby square. Plenty of tables at the back of the cafe, toilets etc. Parking directly outside cafe (45 mins ?) Or unlimited across the road in village carpark.

This quirky cafe is cash only. The staff told me there was an ATM at the Co-op round the corner, which wasn't actually incorrect - it just wasn't working. I could only get £20 cashback (and had to buy something), so clutching my unwanted chewing gum and my £20, I headed back to the cafe. Realising that £20 probably wouldn't be enough for two of us, I also called in to the general store next door to the cafe. To get £20 cashback I had to spend £3, so I added some chocolate to my chewing gum. Returning to the cafe through the downpour, I brandished my £40 to my companions and we ordered our breakfast. It was very good, with us all commenting on the quality of the bacon and the sausages. However, we got the impression that we weren't particularly welcome to sit and talk after our meal. Indeed, virtually everyone else arrived after us and left before we did. TL; DR: Good food, friendly service, but don't plan to spend hours there. Oh, and there's plenty of free parking just over the road.

Very nice clean pleasant cafe. Our breakfast stop on the way to Skegness and back too. Good food and quick service. Free parking just across the road on the market place. Just one thing to note, they are a cash only place. Otherwise great !
